Within this sub-culture community of societal nudists I'm very interested in observing the concept of personal privacy. We do not have the same notion of personal privacy as the fabrics.
For Cloths, the overall concept of private privacy has a modesty to immodesty ratio that greatly leans toward modesty - from our perspective. Our complete notion of personal privacy heavily leans toward immodesty - from their perspective. Theirs and our limits of personal privacy are in distinct places. For us the nude is no longer a private thing. Our immodesty has limitations, however. I am interested in finding where those limitations, both for myself and for the established community.
I recall being on my first visit of the neighborhood club, and getting the tour around the property. blondes on a beach was surprised at finding that the showers were unisex and open plan. Thinking back it all makes sense, but back then I was coming from a point of view of a just-coming-out closet nudist (basically a textile). I think most nudist don't. A few people are just not comfortable about washing all their bits and bottoms with others. Those places need a concentrated effort if it is going to be done properly. I am now comfortable giving the regions a quick once over. naturist 's got bits and bums after all.
Dressing and undressing is fundamentally ' blondes on a beach '. Nearly all of use will just put on or take off at will, without the necessity of some solitude to do that. Textile street fashions - especially womens' fashion - are moving toward being less humble. Over time trousers are worn lower to flaunt the panties underneath. Tops are more translucent, showing bras and camisoles beneath. Skirts are made in this style that the they're readily blown up by the wind. There's a slow tendency to being less humble and more - in a way - nudist.
I give it 50 years and New Zealand will be a social nudist country. beach freedom will extend to having unisex open-plan showers at the neighborhood swimming pool. I am hoping I can see the years outside until then.
