Within this sub-culture community of social nudists I'm really interested in keeping the idea of personal privacy. We don't have the same notion of personal privacy as the fabrics.
For Fabrics, the entire concept of personal privacy has a modesty to immodesty ratio that greatly incline toward modesty - from our perspective. Our overall notion of private privacy greatly leans toward immodesty - from their point of view. Theirs and our limits of private privacy are in different locations. For us the nude is no longer a private item. Our immodesty has limitations, however. I am interested in finding where those limits, both for myself and for the established community.
I recall being on my first visit of the neighborhood club, and getting the tour across the property. nudism was surprised at finding that the showers were unisex and open plan. Textiles see showering as somewhat toilet-orientated. I think most nudist do not. nudism of us are simply not comfortable about washing each of their bits and bums with others. Those areas need a concentrated effort if it is going to be done correctly. I am now comfortable giving the regions a quick once-over. Everyone's got bits and bottoms after all.
Dressing and undressing is naturally 'Textile'. Almost all of use will simply put on or take off at will, without the necessity of some privacy to do this. beach party - particularly womens' trend - are moving toward being less modest. Through the years pants are worn lower to flaunt the panties beneath. Tops are more transparent, showing bras and camisoles beneath. Skirts are designed in this style that the they are readily blown up by the wind. There's a slow tendency to being less humble and more - in a way - nudist.
I give it 50 years and New Zealand will be a social nudist country. Our private privacy will extend to having unisex open plan showers at the local pool. I hope I can see the years outside until then.
