- Fixed critical security issue that allowed attackers to execute code from other devices (RCE Exploit). This could be done via in-game messaging, or other methods in which the game logs an exploitable string as $jndi?ldap due a log-upstream vulnerability., because of an upstream vulnerability in the log.

Fog:

- World fog now starts farther away from the player to make distant terrain visible. - Instead of applying fog as a spherical volume it is now applied as a cylindrical volume.

Additions

- Music Disc - Added a new music disc from Lena Raine titled "otherside". - Found in rare cases in stronghold corridor chests and much less frequently in dungeon boxes. The disc's ring area is blue-green in color.

World generation

Caves - Completely renovated. Now the caves extend down to Y=59. Depending on the depth of the caves, there are now two layers of different stone bases. - The layer above the Y=8 mark is made of regular stone. - Stone transitions to deepslate from Y=8 to Y=0. - Deepslate replaces all stone, from Y=0 up to bedrock. Deepslate is still able to generate certain types and structures as well as tuff, gravel and other ores. This layer is not suitable for generating dirt, diorite and granite, as well as andesite.

- Sometimes, lava is used to generate water from aquifers below Y=0

Cheese caves are characterized by large stone towers that run from the bottom of the cave up to the top. They are often large enough for safe elytra flight. Spaghetti caves, which are longer and thinner than original caves, have smaller aquifers. Noodle caves are thinner and more claustrophobic versions of spaghetti caves.

- Available in 6 subbiomes.

- This species is found in plateaus, the lowest layers of some hills, and often near plains and other temperate biomes. - Includes tall grass, grass, dandelions. Azure bluets. cornflowers. poppies. daisies. Alliums. Birch and oak trees are not likely to appear in this biome. This biome is only suitable for sheep, donkeys, rabbits and other small animals. This biome can produce plains villages and pillager outposts.

- Generates on the slopes or snowy mountains when there are forested biomes nearby. It's reminiscent of a snowy, taiga with a snow block and powder snow surface. - Rabbits, wolves, foxes, sheep, pigs, chickens and cows spawn in this biome. This biome is home to outposts of pillarers.

- Generates on the slopes, or in snowy tundra, of a mountain. - Covered in snow, snow block and powder snow. - Only rabbits and goats spawn in this biome. This biome is home to both pillager outposts and igloos.

- One biome that generates in the mountain peaks. - Covered in snow, snow blocks and stone. - Can produce sharp and jagged peaks when there are snowy, cold and temperate biomes. This biome is only suitable for goat spawning. This biome is suitable for generating pilgrouts.

- One the three biomes that are found in the mountain tops. - Covered with snow, snow blocks and ice. - Produces smoother, more uniform peaks in areas with low temperatures, snow, and cold biomes. - Only goats spawn in this biome. This biome can also be used to generate pillar outposts.

- One of three biomes that generate in the mountain peaks. - Covered in stone, gravel, and strips of calcite. To avoid temperature clashes: Tends to create in any peak that is surrounded warm biomes, such as jungles or savannas. This biome is not suitable for spawning animals. This biome is suitable for generating pillar outposts.

- Long and rare ore deposits. - Copper ore veins that are mixed with granite and blocks made of raw copper generate a value above Y=0. - Iron ore veins containing tuff and blocks containing raw iron generate below the Y=0.

Upgrading of old worlds

Terrain from new pieces will now blend with terrain from old pieces. These chunks will contain any player-made structures. They can be buried, buried, or deteriorated. - The old layer of bedrock between Y=0 & Y=4 is replaced by deepslate. - New world generation will generate any remaining bedrock below Y=0 in old chunks. Y=64 is where a new bedrock layer will be placed.

Command format

/jfr

- When enabled, begins profiling with Java FlightRecorder, as well as the following custom events: - minecraft.ServerTickTime: Sampling event exposing average server tick times in intervals of a second - minecraft.ChunkGeneration: Time taken to generate individual chunk stages - minecraft.PacketRead / minecraft.PacketSent: Network traffic - minecraft.WorldLoadFinishedEvent: Initial world loading duration

- Advancements – Added 4 new advancements: Caves & Cliffs – Fall from the Top to the Bottom of the Overworld.

Ride a strider through lava to reach 50 blocks of the Overworld.

- In a meadow biome, you can make music using a jukebox.

- Trade at the maximum build height limit with a villager

- Triggered when a player falls - ride_entity_in_lava. - Triggered every tick when a player rides in lava.

- Debug screen - Added three new lines: Multinoise, biome builder, and terrain. - Only if the dimension in question uses the multinoise biome source types. Multinoise lists all parameters used at the position of the player to place a Biome. C is continentalness, E erosion, T temperature, H humidity, and W weirdness. - As you move further inland the continentalness will increase. Oceans can generate in areas with low continentality values. Erosion determines how mountainous or flat an area is. Higher values result in flatter areas, lower values result in mountainous areas. Temperature and humidity do not have an effect on the terrain, but they only determine biome placement. - Weirdness indirectly drives the PV (peaks and valleys) noise and determines which biome variant gets placed.

Font

- Added illageralt, the rune-like font from Minecraft Dungeons. - At the moment, only commands are allowed to access this feature.

"Left to Bloom", which plays in the meadow, lush caves biomes, and the menu screen. "One More Day", also known as "One More Day", is found in the meadow with snowy slopes and lush caverns biomes. - "Wending" plays in the grove, jagged peaks, stony peaks and dripstone caves biomes, as well as the menu screen. - "Infinite Amethyst" plays in the grove and dripstone caves biomes, as well as the menu screen.

Options

- You can now disable lightning flashes. This will prevent lightning from making lightning flash. Lightning bolts will still be visible. - You can now choose the device that outputs audio to in-game. - Added "Chunk Builder" to video settings. - Determines which chunk sections will be updated synchronously in one frame. There are three options available: Fully Blocking, which is how chunk sections were updated before 21w37a; Semi Blocking or Threaded, which reduces stuttering when removing or placing blocks. The last two options may result in rare visual delays during world updates.

- Entities, blocks and fluids will not be updated outside of simulation distance. Allows for greater render distance while consuming less CPU load. - The lower limit is 5 chunks.

- The indicator appears in bottom right of screen when the game saves the world file. - Defaults to on.

- The "Realms Notifications” option was moved to this screen. - It now includes the new "Allow Player Listings" option. - When deactivated, the player name will not show up in server online player listings.
