Minecraft 1.17 on M1 Mac with arm64 java?

I used to be capable of play Minecraft utilizing the Azul Zulu 11 JDK constructed for arm64.

At the moment i upgraded Minecraft to model 1.17 which was released just lately and has great new features. It now requires Java 16 and comes bundled with a x86_sixty four java binary on MacOS which works on M1 Macs however provides less than stellar performance.

I installed Azul Zulu 16 for arm64 and configured my Minecraft launcher profile to make use of it (path: /Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines/zulu-16.jdk/Contents/Dwelling/bin/java ). Teamextrememc

Sadly the game crashes on launch. Has anybody gotten it to work with the arm64 java binary?

Yep, use this GitHub gist as a guild. The reason it's crashing is that Minecraft uses LWJGL which hasn't been compiled for ARM within the Minecraft launcher. You need to use MultiMC to alter to the LWJGL native JAR that somebody compiled.

Thanks

u/superpenguin612 I take advantage of Multi-MC, I updated to Zulu 16, but the wrapper shouldn't be working. It works simply fine on 1.16.5 Zulu 11; and 1.12 Zulu 8, but not 16. Any idea why? Does the LWJGL must be up to date?

It really works just high quality for me! There shouldn't technically be a "wrapper," per se (there is a distinct GitHub gist that says to make use of a python wrapper command; I've had points with that so I linked the one where all you need to do is change the Java native and LWJGL). Can you publish your configuration for MultiMC? Teamextrememc Minecraft Server I've it running all the way in which up to 1.17 with Optifine and Zulu 16. Here is an Imgur link with my entire configuration. Teamextrememc I really deviated from the guide as a result of I did not need to retailer LWJGL in my home folder so I moved it to the occasion folder for my 1.16.5 profile. (You possibly can open it by clicking "Occasion Folder" in MultiMC) Hope this helps!

Works superb for me , i'm also running on the beta model of OSX - i do have a random crash on exit that i am struggling with however the sport itself runs high quality. I'm utilizing mcwrap.py and zulu-16jdk.
