Minecraft 118 Launches This Month But Three Big Features Are on Hold

The snapshot betas were growing smaller and smaller and we knew it was coming. But now Mojang has officially announced. The Minecraft 1.18 release date, which includes all of the Caves & Cliffs Part 2 features, is set to launch on November 30th. The update will be available on all platforms Minecraft supports and will bring us numerous new biomes, revamped worlds generation and more.



Minecraft 1.18 launches on November 30. Minecraft servers list The Java Edition update will be available on Windows, Mac, Linux and Linux PCs. The Bedrock Edition will launch on the PlayStation 4 - deep breath - PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X and S.



The update introduces new world generation as well as improved cave systems as well as candles. But, as we've previously reported some features were pushed back from 1.18 - and they won't make 1.19 (also known as The Wild update) either, as the devs have confirmed.



The announcement states that archaeology, bundles , and goat horns were "put on hold". "They aren't put on hold, we just had to put them on the backburner for the moment..
