NEW YORK - Sep. 8 2022, /PRNewswire/ The Israel Ministry of Tourism today announced new records for tourist arrivals in Israel from the United States in July and august. The country received 78,000 travelers from the United States in July 2022 that's a 4 percent increase from the year before, and 71,000 total travelers from the United States in August 2022 which is an increase of 13% from 2019.

Eyal Carlin is the North American Tourism Commissioner of the United States. He stated, "It's so exciting to again see an rise in tourism to Israel from America, already in the process of surpassing or exceeding our record-breaking numbers for 2019". "The United States is our most important market for inbound tourism for Israel. Before the COVID-19 epidemic, we had record numbers of tourists from Israel visiting Israel each month. We are so happy to have witnessed such a positive shift, and we anticipate it to continue for a long time."

Canada with 7,200 tourists in July 2022, and 6,000 tourists in August, isn't far behind the United States.
