Amazon's 3D handset has four front facing cameras that can be used to create floating displays.

The first images of Amazon's 3D handset are now available. They show the four cameras that make up the an illusion of floating screens.



The device is expected to be launched in June, the phone will make use of retina-tracking technology to make images on the smartphone's display appear to float over the screen like holograms and appear three-dimensional at all angles.'



The recent images also show a thin handset, although it is covered by a case that shields its original design.

HOW IT WILL WORK



The device features an image camera that is located in the corner at the front of the screen.



These cameras can be used to track the position and orientation of the user's eye and face in relation to the display.



This allows Amazon's software to make constant adjustments to the positioning of the elements on the screen, altering the perspective of the images on the screen and making them appear in 3D without glasses.



We have also gotten exclusive photos of a prototype of the device that has not been released offering the world a first glimpse at Amazon's highly anticipated phone, web site BGR said.



As can be seen in the images the device is surrounded by a protective case designed to keep people who do not have authorization from seeing the actual appearance of the phone.'

The phone appears almost identical to Nokia's Windows Phone, with its large, rounded shell. However, this is believed to be an imitation of the final design.
