Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is an internet first-person shooter (FPS) game developed by Valve and Hidden Path Entertainment, the latter having labored on Counter Strike: Heroes and Counter Strike: DOTA before. It's the fourth significant match at the Counter-Strike series, designed for more than two decades. Although Counter Strike has always been among my favorite games, this new game has truly made my blood boil. If you're familiar with the Counter-Strike series, you will understand that each game has been quite different, with each version hoping to introduce new weapons and features, as well as trying to expand the sport itself with new maps, weapons, characters, or challenge systems. With Global Offensive nevertheless, things aren't as straightforward.

Global Offensive utilizes a"buy" system where money has to be collected before players can select which weapons they want to use during conflict. Unlike Counter Strike: Reflex, cash is not always on hand, so you'll want to collect it using Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, prior to being able to utilize it. Once collected, the cash is used for things, skills, upgrades, special's counters and abilities.

The game itself is very addictive and fun: the activity is fast paced, you've got a lot of alternatives, the weapons are incredibly varied, and you've got a chance to surprise your opponents with something unexpected. The problem with Global Offensive though, is that it is not so exciting. Global Offensive essentially plays itself. You are going to be murdering enemies, creating up your toolbox, researching and experimenting with new strategies, then going back and doing the exact same thing. There is simply not that csgoroulette of anything else to do within the sport.
