Good Modded Minecraft Server Hosting

I'm thinking about starting a modded server along with 6 friends. I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for good hosting services. I'm thinking of using the curseforge mod pack "create together". Cost is not an issue, I think. Anything under or around $20.

Thanks for any suggestions!

I've run servers on Apex Hosting and my husband and friends have run others on Bisect Hosting, all with success. You might consider increasing the cpu if you have lag issues. RAM does not always increase performance.

Ram does not increase performance. You only need enough RAM not to be below the java garbage collector threshold.

This isn’t performance. This isn't performance. It won't make a difference if the gpu has identical performance, but it will make it run as intended.

Hosting it yourself is the best.

I decided to set it up myself. I have an old PC that I'm going to use for the server. Is it possible to run a modpack with these specs?

I have used APEX hosting, but was terminated by them not too long ago due to a billing issue. Gslist

Pebble host also offers great budget plans, if you don't mind sharing a cpu (Multiple users on the same CPU without a hard limit). I pay 10$ a month to get a 10gb server with unlimited ssd.

Do you think the shared CPU would be able support 7 players on modded with its current configuration? Do you have any tips on how to set up mods?

Hey! I own the company ThreadNode & would be more than happy to work with you on this. We don't have a custom mod installation menu, but I can help you create what you need.
